Move Well. Move Often.
Massage and Movement Therapy for Injury, Performance and Vitality
About
Welcome!
I’m Sam, mum-of-2, sea-dipper, trail-plodder, gym-lover, Greystones-blow-in, network-engineer-turned-fitness-professional, and owner of ActiveRecovery :-)
After experiencing illness and injury, and being brought back to life by movement and exercise, I have followed my heart to exchange a 16-year career in IT for a brand new one in fitness and physical therapy, and I’m in love with every single moment!
Our approach here is based on three principles:
That movement is medicine. It can and it will help your physical, mental and emotional health
That life is hard! And it can hurt! And it’s full of obstacles to doing this ^ no matter how well we know it to be true
With self-belief, enough support, and the right approach we can push those obstacles aside, and get back to who we are and what we love :-)
We are based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, a beautiful seaside hub of wellness and vitality, and a place where my soul feels truly at home among the fabulous community.
ActiveRecovery is very much a passion-project. Retraining and setting it up has been enormous fun and brought me so much joy :-) I’m delighted to finally share it with you all!
See you soon!
